Set your water heater no higher than 120F. Always test the temperature of your baby’s bath water to be sure it’s not too hot. Smoking cigarettes while feeding or playing with your baby is harmful to their lungs. Ideally, smoking should be avoided, however if this is not possible, wash your hands, and change your clothes before caring for your baby.
You should have at least one smoke detector on each floor of your house. Check the batteries! Consider installing a carbon monoxide detector near your heating unit.
