Roseola is an illness that is cause by a virus. It can give your child high fever which can last for several days. After the fever subsides, your child may develop a rash that starts on their head and can spread to the rest of their body.

This is not a dangerous illness and is very common. Your child may be fussy and uncomfortable during this time. You can give your child Tylenol or Motrin for fever and discomfort.
